Associate Director of the Croft Institute for International Studies
William Schenck received his BA in History summa cum laude from Boston College in 1999. He completed his Ph.D. in Romance Languages and Literatures at Boston College with a concentration in French and Italian Medieval Literature in 2008. He also holds a Masters in French Literature and Civilization from the University of Paris III in France. Dr. Schenck has also worked in academic technology and web development.
In addition to serving with Dr. Gispen as the academic advisor of Croft students, Schenck runs the senior thesis sequence Inst 421 and 422, coordinates recruiting and admissions as well as the Croft Speaker Series, and manages many of the day-to-day operations of the Institute.
